Welcome to Girdle of Venus. By purchasing from my studio, you are agreeing to the following terms. These are designed to ensure a fair and transparent experience for both the maker and the collector.
1. The Nature of Handmade Art
Each Sacred Heart is a 1-of-1 original or a made-to-order piece.
Because these are hand-embroidered and hand-edged, no two items are identical.
Subtle variations in bead colour, placement, and texture are the hallmarks of artisan work and are not considered defects.
2. Custom Commissions & Production
Production Time: For custom orders, the "7-day creation window" begins once payment is confirmed.
Accuracy: For bespoke requests, please ensure all details provided (colours, initials, etc.) are correct at the time of purchase. Changes made after work has begun may incur additional fees.
3. Payment & Pricing
All prices are listed in GBP.
Full payment is required before I begin hand-stitching your piece or dispatching an in-stock item.
I reserve the right to adjust pricing for future collections or custom work.
4. Intellectual Property
All designs, photography, and brand content are the property of Girdle of Venus.
Purchasing a charm grants you ownership of the physical piece, but the design rights remain with the artist. My work may not be resold for commercial profit or replicated without express written consent.
5. Shipping & Liability
Once a package is scanned by the carrier and a tracking number is provided, the risk of loss passes to the buyer.
As a signature is required for delivery, please ensure someone is available at your shipping address to receive the piece.
6. Limitations of Use
These pieces are delicate works of textile art. Girdle of Venus is not responsible for damage caused by excessive force, immersion in water or general wear and tear over time.
