Why Handmade?

Every piece I create is a labour of love, born from hours of meticulous hand-stitching and detail work. When you purchase from my shop, you aren't just buying an accessory; you are supporting a slow-fashion process that prioritises quality and soul over mass production.

The Time Behind the Art

Because I hand-stitch and detail every element, nothing happens quickly.

  • Ornaments: Each piece requires between 6 to 12 hours of focused work.

  • Bag Charms: These still demand 4 to 6 hours of precision crafting.

Curated Materials

I think that the foundation of a beautiful piece lies in the quality of the materials. I use a blend of luxury new fabrics and sustainably sourced vintage finds:

  • Premium Textiles: From deep, high-quality red velvets to unique finds like black linens and upcycled fabrics sourced from local charity shops.

  • The Details: I use intricate lace (often costing upwards of £5 per metre), water-soluble template paper for precision, and specialised gold and silver edging.

  • Hardware & Embellishments: Every bead, gem and charm is hand-selected. I invest in professional-grade tools - from embroidery hoops and pliers to specialty needles and threads - to make sure your piece is built to last.

Fair Pricing

My pricing is designed to be accessible while covering the rising costs of quality materials, website hosting and transaction fees. The remaining balance includes a small "maker’s fee" for my time. While this fee is significantly below standard minimum wage (for most pieces, £2-£3 an hour for my time after material costs), it allows me to keep creating and sharing my art with you.

I don't charge for standard shipping, so postage and packaging is absorbed in the cost of the item.
